Since getting the new system i have had a constant cough and so has my roommate… the place was left dirty and my rug was damaged, as well as my attic ladder…

Although we’ve had several issues with this unit we have still received decent service from techs, office staff etc. Good thing we have a warranty or it would be very expensive.
for this job, I did an evaluation. Upon arrival, indoor and outdoor were both not running. Opened the air handler and saw the fuse popped. Checked thermostat wiring at the indoor and outdoor unit and all wiring looked good. Noticed the pressure switch wires, resting on copper, and when I checked them, they had burn marks. Fixed up the wiring and moved them out of the way. Put a new fuse in and System stayed on and cooling for over 20 minutes. While the system was running, I noticed the UV bulb was not on. Recommended The homeowners speak with air quality to get a better idea of their options. Homeowners agreed and we scheduled it for October 16 in the afternoon.

On arrival evaporator coil was fully frozen. Filter was very dirty and restricting airflow. Advised cust to change filter and leave system off untill evaporator coil thaws.
Installed new warranty compressor pressure test pulled vacuum installed new filter dryer set charge unit working properly
On arrival auxiliary motor starter had .5 capacitance out of an intended 40. This was keeping the compressor from running and cooling the house. Once replaced the system resumed normal operation. Would recommend a start kit ( compressor saver) at some point in the future since the condenser sits on the roof in direct sun. System cooling as I left. Landlord approved work over phone and tenant signed forms.

On arrival system running and cooling producing 17 degrees delta. Indoor unit dusty with beginning signs of bacterial growth in supply plenum. No water safety's on machine. Outdoor units dual run capicator is out of tolerance. Outdoor unit otherwise passed all electrical testing. Customer planning on having friend replace capicator.

On arrival system running and cooling producing 18 degree delta. Indoor unit passed all electrical testing. Drain lines flowed when flushed. Uv bulb out of tolerance and burnt out. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. System cooling as I left. Scheduled air quality visit for later today.
As far as I can tell the system is not making any noises beyond what is normal. The return has small hum noise. I watched and monitored it for 30 min and didn't catch anything abnormal happening.
Customer already had job completed and double booked us
For this job I initially showed up for an evaluation however the customer went ahead and took care of the problem which happened to be the primary drain line going into the hub drain was clogged. So instead I did a cooling tune up since the customers are entitled to two per year. All in all everything looks good however with the customers permission I went ahead and installed a clean out for the primary drain line and a condensation water treatment strip.
for this job, we did an evaluation. At arrival the system was on but not running. Homeowner said that the system had just gone off the other night and turned on momentarily before turning off again. I started at the air handler and checked the drain lines noticed that the safety had been activated and the lines were clogged. Homeowner accepted a drain clearing and a membership. After clearing the drain, we put everything back together, turned the thermostat on, and waited 20 minutes to verify that the unit would continuously run.
